YOUTH MINISTTRY

Until there is a Youth Minister for our parish cluster, this page will be used to provide information that might be of interest to children, teenagers, and young adults. When a Youth Ministry is set up with our partner parishes, this space will be provided for it.

"REJOICE"

The Archdiocesan Youth Retreat Center, Kearny, will host the ninth-annual "Rejoice" prayer festival April 20-22. Rejoice is a co-ed event geared for young people over the age of 15. HIGH SCHOOL EXPO

5th, 6th, and 7th grade students and their parents are invited to open house for Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese on the following dates and locations: Monday, April 16, at the Archdiocesan Center, 171 Clifton Ave., Newark; Tuesday, April 17, Marist High School, Bayonne; Wednesday, April 18, St. Michael School, Union; Monday, April 23, Our Lady of Sorrows, South Orange; Tuesday, April 24, Annunciation Parish, Paramus; and Wednesday, April 25, Queen of Peace Elementary School, North Arlington. The COOP Admissions Exam will be given Friday, November 9, 2007, for September 2008 admissions.

OPEN HOUSE AT CATHOLIC COLLEGES

Felician College, Lodi, New Jersey, will have an open house for prospective students on Saturday, April 21. For more information, call 201-559-6131.
Caldwell College will have open house on Saturday, April 21, at 11:00 AM for undergraduates in Alumni Theater, and graduates at 10:00 AM in the Academic Building. "HE MOVES IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS"

St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Essex Fells, presents "U2"CHARIST, Sunday, April 29 at 5:30 PM, featuring the music of U2. The church is located at 271 Roseland Ave., Essex Fells. Call 973-226-6500. Offering will benefit the Good Shepherd Home in Bamenda, Cameroon. Reception to follow.
