SENIOR NEWS

There is an active Senior Citizens Club at Our Lady of Mount Carmel that meets on the second Thursday of the month. The current president is Phyllis Stivala. The club runs various trips during the year.

On this site, there will be more information about the trips and activities of the Senior Citizens Club, and also any news item that would be of interest not only to the club, but to all senior citizens of the parish, as well as anyone who comes to this site.

The Senior Citizens Club is running a trip to the Brownstone, Paterson, on April 24, to see "Family Reunion with Uncle Floyd Vivino." The cost of $55.00 includes transportation, the show, and a meal. For more information, call 973-338-6132.

St. Vincent's Nursing Home recently completed construction of a new facility in Cedar Grove. Located in a residential community, the new building was specially designed to make living comfortable, safe, and pleasant for nursing home residents. The building includes accommodations for group and family activities, and features a chapel that allows residents and their families to practice their religion in an especially spiritual atmosphere.
